Carpet question
So, my trailer needs new bunks. Is it really necessary to use marine carpet on them or can I cover them with remnants from the house?

Hi Johnny-
Personnaly, I wrap mine in the big box store gray indoor/outdoor carpet. It's last pretty well, especially if you hose everything down. As far as I know the big difference in the marine grade carpet is the UV resistance. MOst the time it ain't seeing sun...

Thx Karl. I figure they are only gonna last 5 to 6 years anyway and the carpet will outlast the wood, so should be no problem.
