• Lake Livingston Water Plant Restoration

    Today, we started planting water willow in the State Park area. Lake Livingston Friends of Reservoirs in conjunction with TPWD, TRA, TBBU and others were in attendance at the State Park this morning. 2 boats loaded with 350 tank raised water willow were planted by volunteers over the course of about 3 hours.

    There are more plants being readied for another planting date. With continued support, the project will continue for many years to increase shoreline vegetation cover for many aquatic species.

    I'll post some pics once I get them off the SLR & processed. I'll also be sending photos out to Alice for her to post at TPWD & getting an album started at TBBU's website
