Thread: Livingston Humpday

Got biz taken care of this morning & checked the weather reports for the wind prediction. It looked like it would be pretty calm so I heading across the lake on 190 to Kickapoo Marina. We, this one was on a cypressather was great, fishing not so much.

I picked up some short bass on a shallow squarebill, this one was on a cypress


Caught some on laydowns & brushpiles with a KK Waterdog


Nothing kept but it was a real nice day on the water. I got on the water around 10, off around 6:30.

I ran across a big ol' gator back in the Round Hole area of Kickapoo, that's on video & I gotta see if I can get a frame out of it to post. She was a fatty, passed out up against the bank. Prolly 12', maybe better. Her belly looked like she had a huge meal last night

I also got the idle on the merc adjusted at the end of the day. Hopefully it'll stop dying when I'm trailering it now...
