River Report
I took a break yesterday mornin after a couple hours at the desk & launched on the Trinity about 8:45. Started off chuckin a Model A baby bass pattern and stuck with that throughout the day, everything was hitting it. First fish was on about 9:30, 13" bass. By 11:00 a slew of small fish were caught, mix of 13-14" greenies and sandies. Then I found this one under an overhanging tree, it went 3.96# & 20.75" according to the Accu-cull.
Whites & cats were hitting the Bomber as well. I tried a couple of the other 7 rigged rods I brought out but the baby bass was the lure of the day.
Fished the east side from Archies on down & it was definitely on. Water temps ran from 70 early to 74 when I got off the water. Wish I'd have grabbed more pics but catchin was too much fun... Good break from the desk!
I rarely keep greenies but I was fishing on an empty stomach, and this was a delicious dinner!
Tight lines y'all
