Thread: Good Thursday Evening

Had a day full of TBBU meeting today, fortunately nice & close in Onalaska!

The meet went well & I feel we touched on many of the front burner issues. The organization is in the "black" (pun intended) financially any we are moving on several projects in the area.

We ended up with 3 TPW representatives at the meeting and they closed the day with thanking TBBU for all they do and saying that TPW is behind TBBU fully. Good news!

A new affiliate of TBBU, Lake Livingston Friends of Reservoirs, is getting the backing of TBBU and I'm happy to be part of this project. There is a goal of planting for 10 years on Livingston's shores, stuffing American water willow into the shoreline muck of Lake Livingston's shoreline. This poor lake has been lacking aquatic vegetation for so long I hope it will know how to accommodate it We did a planting on September 23rd, here's a link to the pics http://www.anglersmedia.com/lake-liv...t-enhancement/.

We are all hopeful the plants take off and we will keep adding more as they become mature in the various nurseries that have been set up.

More as we move along, improving Texas' fisheries...
